ShopSabre CNC Plasma Cutting Machines
Slice through the toughest materials and handle the most challenging jobs with a CNC plasma machine from ShopSabre. Combining ShopSabre quality with efficient plasma machining means more productivity for your shop.
CNC Plasma Benefits
Plasma allows a CNC machine to cut metal in virtually any shape, producing curves and angles with ease. Precision nozzles and tightly controlled plasma arcs keep edges clean.
In the ShopSabre series of CNC machines, plasma cutters are combined with top of the line G-code generators and software controls. This union of power and finesse makes ShopSabre CNC plasma cutters capable of near laser quality cuts. Clean and efficient fabrication of heavy and tough materials add value to your finished product, while reducing your overhead on time, labor and other expenses.
A CNC plasma cutter has to be built tough, because downtime equals headache time for your shop and for the accounting department. We build every ShopSabre in house so that each one of our CNC machines can deliver rock solid performance hour after hour, day after day. The ShopSabre is made in the USA from start to finish, with no compromises.
CNC Plasma Cutter Applications
Saving time and increasing productivity does not mean compromising on versatility. The precision and power of a plasma CNC machine makes a wide variety of machining and engraving tasks possible:
• Bevel cuts
• Interrupted cuts
• Hole cutting and piercing
• Hot machining
• Many more, email for more details
The Shop Sabre automated plasma cutter slices through metals without leaving excessive amounts of molten material attached to the finished piece. The high velocity cutting gasses blow unwanted metal away from the kerf, yielding excellent quality pieces that require very little post-cutting prep work.
• Conductive metals
• Mild steels
• Steel alloys
• Aluminum

What type of plasma unit do you need?
The higher the amperage output of the plasma cutter, the greater the duty cycle is at lesser amperages. If you plan to use the machine more than six hours a day, you should consider a larger plasma unit than you would typically use on your material. If you will be using your machine frequently, but not continuously, consider a unit that is capable of cutting the thickest material you are likely to work with.
Plasma Height Control Option
The plasma height control is an advanced height control system providing exceptional performance and value for conventional plasma shape cutting applications.
The plasma height control utilizes arc voltage sensing and microprocessor technology to automatically detect the plate and maintain torch position at a desired set point during plasma cutting operations. This reduces operator input and improves accuracy, cut quality, and productivity.
